The book The Last King by journalist Olga Wornat is considered an unauthorized biography of Vicente Fernandez, a famous Mexican singer.

In her book, she states that one of Charro de Huentitan’s sons might have ties to drug trafficking.

Without intending to disparage the Fernández, Olga Wornat’s book claims that Gerardo was not only dishonest but also a friend of Ignacio Nacho Coronel, a murdered drug dealer who belonged to the Sinaloa Cartel.

Although the book was a biography of the King of Rachel, but some particular aspects of the book attracted people’s attention. The author of the book links Gerrard to drug trafficking; she also says that

‘Vicente Fernández has a complicated family. I was investigating one of his sons and where the whole knot is untied’.

She further said, 

 “Gerardo Fernandez is the middle son, who is ambitious and unscrupulous; he has shady relationships and is capable of robbing his father and brother. He robbed and stole from Juan Gabriel and lied to his father, he would keep the entire empire that Vicente had left behind”.

She accused Gerardo of having a direct link with drug trafficking, but she also said that she doesn’t have direct testimony to confirm these allegations. Yet, she does have sources that can confirm her accusations. 

The kidnapping of His Own Brother

Olga Wornat, in her book, also claims that Gerorrad Fernández was also involved in the kidnapping of his own brother.

Vincent Jr was kidnapped in 1998 by a criminal gang Los Mochadedos for four months. 

At that time, Vincent paid $3 million to kidnappers to release his son. In this kidnapping incident, Jr.vicente also lost his two fingers.
